(JR) This Day 3.
The handbrake was out of the phartsack by 0 dark hundred and
inter her plimsoles and gone. |The previrase
evening there had beeen earnest
debate as to a grand plan for the day. Intention was for the \Team to
head more or less \south sndtry to get to the Alps. |After a breakfast of
champions the mob recovered their kit, sorted the bikes and prepared fro
another day on the tarmac.##
\\Any thoughts
This is my little space to write in! Around 400km was
covered which revealed beautiful countryside and many interesting sights eg. a
crane factory, lovely rolling pasture, occassional grapes, lovely little alpine
villages and when approaching Austria a lovely change in mountainous geography.
Colin panicked everyone with his usual attention seeking behaviour by claiming
his bike would not start - a court of enquiry is scheduled to sort out his
maintenance schedule. Ross and Morna did the usual extra mileage but were very
impressive on the motorway burning up the locals on their Explorer. On arriving in Kitzbulel the team needed
rehydationn then after dunking the balls went out for an excellent fang.
Overall the day was very long mileage wise but the scenery was excellent. It
again revealed the limitations on ability of various folk to programme their
|GPS as everyone went a different way but all arrived safely in my favourite
ski resort. The main issue now is deciding what to do tomorow with the boys
favouring a bike ride without the claggage on the back whilst the girls go
walking (this also includes JR). That's all for now.
